Green beans - topped and cut into 5 cm pieces

Instructions
Place the beans in a suitable container and microwave, covered for 3 minutes.
Alternatively, boil or steam the beans just until crisp-tender, about 5 to 7 minutes.
Add the beans to the pan and toss with the cumin and cayenne pepper, season to taste with salt and black pepper. Cook just until the beans are heated through.
